STX wanted to capture the hearts of families and inspire them to go see the movie musical of the year, UglyDolls. In a classic underdog story, UglyDolls helps remind viewers of the true meaning of beauty.

In a two part campaign, Megan Media activated a diverse set of mom influencers to build excitement for UglyDolls across Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Influencers teased out the film by sharing how the movie’s key themes resonated with them and their kids.

Influencers also shared the film’s trailer to Facebook and an Instagram Stories video highlighting why their families are excited to see the movie. Heartwarming, engaging content helped drive views for the trailer and spark authentic conversation around the film.

We created a powerful brand story leading up to the premiere by hosting two Twitter Parties highlighting the film’s release and key themes, intelligent content distribution, and social amplification of influencer content to a relevant mom audience.
